ron-delos-santosRon de los Santos’ career in academia spans almost 10 years, as he has successfully led local universities in consistently exceeding goals in the areas of student recruitment and retention. Ron is currently the Director of the Office of Enrollment Management for Resurrection University in Chicago where he oversees the Office of Admissions, the Office of the Registrar and manages the team that develops strategies for new student recruitment and retention.

Ron is the University’s youngest administrator as well as the youngest person to be named to the position of Director of the Office of Enrollment. After demonstrating his expertise in student recruitment by exceeding goals year after year, Ron was promoted to the position of Director in less than 3 years. Under his leadership, Ron’s team doubled enrollment at Resurrection University in just five years, surpassing the achievements of previous directors, and propelling the University to new heights in its unique upper-division category.

Ron spearheaded the development and strategic roll-out of Resurrection University’s new customer relations management tool, which allows his team to reach, track and communicate with more prospective health sciences students than at any time in the school’s 100-year history. This tool, combined with Ron’s management of the data acquired, has also helped increase other University Department goals including the departments of Alumni Relations, Marketing, and Career Services.

Ron enjoys life-long learning in various disciplines, and attributes his success to the skills he developed in previous careers in Counseling Psychology and Human Resources, as well as time spent at the Second City Training Center and Improv Olympics.

Ron earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Arts in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. He continued his studies at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where he received a Master’s Degree in Human Resources.
