MARK JAVIER, ESQ. EXCELLENCE IN LAW

mark javierMark is the President/Owner of The Javier Law Firm, P.C., located at 3029 N. Kedzie, Chicago. He writes a Law column for VIA Times monthly publication. He is a graduate from The John Marshall Law School JD in 2006 and finished his bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois in 2002. His extensive law practice includes the following: Illinois Department of Public Health 2011-2012- Assistant General Counsel; Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office 2007-2011,- Assistant State’s Attorney; Michael G. Holzman & Associates 2006-2007,- Attorney at Law. The Javier Law Firm was founded on years of courtroom and trial experience. It provides its clients the security of knowing they are represented by skilled and seasoned counsel that aggressively advocate for their clients, and are not intimidated in the face of law enforcement, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, or judges. JLF delivers excellent legal analysis and advice in a no-nonsense, direct, and truthful manner. More importantly, JLF understands the stress and frustration their clients feel when forced to deal with legal problems and they treat every client with dignity, respect, and professionalism. He has worked directly with the community as a solo practitioner (The Javier Law Firm, P.C.) handling primarily criminal defense cases and community-based transactional matters. He is on the Board of Directors for the Asian American Bar Association (AABA) of Greater Chicago and the Filipino American Lawyers Association (FALA) of Chicago. Mr. Javier sits on the Judicial Evaluation Committees of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and the Alliance of Minority Bar Associations. He also serves as Co-chair of the N o rth w e st Su b u rb a n Ba r Asso ci a ti o n (NWSBA) Criminal Law Committee. Mr. Javier is a trial competition coach at The John Marshall Law School, and regularly guest judges at mock trial competitions. In the Community, Mr. Javier volunteers regularly at Inspiration Café in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago and travels within the Chicagoland area as a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois Mark was nominated by Mr. Joe Mauricio.
