Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo gears for a six-city US tour to celebrate her 15th year anniversary in showbiz as one of the Philippines’ most bankable artists and box-office draw. The iconic queen of her generation will descend in Chicago on May 4, 2018 at the Copernicus Theater. Joining her onstage for the highly charged “This 15 Me” and the biggest Filipino concert this Spring season are popular singers, “Miss Saigon” alumna Mark Bautista and Sam Concepcion with the G force dancers. The concert promises to be a big blockbuster show as tickets are selling like hotcakes in all major US cities. Billed as “This 15 Me,” the show celebrates Sarah Geronimo’s 15 years in the showbiz industry with an opening salvo in Manila at the Big Dome on April 14.

Red carpet will roll out in the US starting in Los Angeles on April 21 at the Los Angeles Theater followed by a show on April 22 at the Pala Casino in Pala, CA. There will be similar shows on April 28 in Pittsburgh, CA and on April 29 at the Cannery Casino in Las Vegas. Chicago is the second to the last stop on May 4 at the Copernicus Theater and New York as the last stop on May 6 at the Colden Auditorium. The producers of the much-talked about US concert “This15 Me”, International Concert Management or ICM is not a greenhorn on the concert scene having produced sold-out shows like “Pusuan Mo si Vice sa America” in LA featuring Vice Ganda and “Mr. and Mrs. A” featuring very much-adored showbiz couple, Ogie and Regine Alcasid. Rochele Nubla and Lynn Bautista excitedly claim, “This is our first time to do a concert tour for six cities after doing very successful stints in LA. We think it’s time to try our mettle in producing series of concerts with big name stars in other cities too, not just Los Angeles”. The concert tour promoters signed a six-city contract with entertainment juggernaut Viva Artists Agency known to have launched the biggest recording, movie TV stars in the Filipino show business.

Sarah Geronimo is very much excited for this project as she has been in hiatus in the concert scene for a while. She concentrated on her film, TV and corporate endorsements. She promises new things for this show for her multitude of fans and she is giving much time to prepare for this big anniversary show. Looking back 15 years ago, Sarah Geronimo almost gave up her dreams. It can be recalled that Sarah won the grand prize for “Star for A Night” in 2003, the singing talent competition hosted by Regine Velasquez. I had the privilege interviewing Sarah for VT/CPRTV when she came in Chicago for the first time in 2004. She staged a concert along with other singing champions back then. During the interview, she shared that she only joined the contest for the prize money. She came from a very humble beginning and what she aimed for was to help her family with the prize money from the competition. They were not really looking for long term.

Fast forward, 15 years, Sarah Geronimo made it along with the loyal family, friends, supporters and fans who got her back! “This 15 Me’ is a milestone celebration for Sarah as she continues to grow, learn, evolve and emerge, embraced the highs, lows and in-betweens- the roller coaster of her life. It was indeed an exciting journey for Sarah. Throughout the years, Sarah worked hard and proved her worth as a singer, actress, dancer and a TV host. She has appeared on numerous hit films and last July 2017, Sarah starred in a blockbuster movie “Finally Found Someone” with John Lloyd Cruz. The movie served as a reunion movie of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz tandem after four years. This year, in January 2018, Sarah released the single called “Sandata” and topped the iTunes Philippines chart for 4 consecutive days. The song also landed on Spotify Philippines Viral Chart. The official lyric video of the song was published on Viva Records’ official channel a week later. Sarah also received multiple awards for her acting and singing. In addition, Sarah was recently named “Best Philippine Act” in the International Golden Panther Music Awards held in New York City. “This 15 Me” will not be your typical show. This concert is a “must see” and extraordinary with a repertoire of Sarah Gernimo’s original songs mixed with other songs which became relevant throughout her career.
