Lately , he has discovered a new passion – cooking Filipino dishes. Here in Via Times, he wants to share this new-found passion with his delightful recipes.

Pork Menudo is a staple Filipino dish and an all time favorite. I tried my hand on this popular
dish with conventional way of cooking Pinoy Pork Menudo.

Ingredients
• 2 lbs. of pork cubed
• 1 cup potatoes cubed
• 1 cup of carrots cubed
• 1/2 cup soy sauce
• 1/2 piece lemon
• 1 piece onion chopped
• 3 cloves garlic minced
• 2 Tablespoon sugar
• 1/3 cup tomato sauce
• 1 cup boiling water
• 4 pieces hotdogs sliced
• Salt and pepper
• 2 tbsp patis

Instructions

1. Combine pork, soysauce, and lemon .
Marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Heat oil in a pan
3. Saute garlic and onion.
4. Add the marinated pork. Sear pork cubes .
5. Pour in tomato sauce and water and then Boil for 45 minutes or until pork is tender.
6. Add hot dogs.Cook for 5 minutes.
7. Add potatoes, carrots, sugar,salt, and pepper and patis.
Cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
