Philippine Consulate General In Chicago Resumes Overseas Voter Registration

CHICAGO, 03 AUGUST 2020 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago resumed operations for Overseas Voter (OV) Registration on 03 August 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Illinois Stay-at- Home Order, OV Registration had been suspended since 18 March 2020. Beginning 8 June 2020, the Consulate has gradually resumed onsite services aligned with the phased re-opening of the State of Illinois and City of Chicago.

OV Registration operations will follow the Consulate’s Phase 4 Work Plan, i.e., every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Due to Phase 4 health and safety protocols, OV Registration primarily caters to passport applicants and dual citizenship oath takers who already have confirmed appointments. Applicants who wish to avail solely of OV Registration (without applying for other consular services) may email ovchicagopcg@gmail.com to schedule an appointment. END
