Mar Doreza was an undefeated champion of Tawag ng Tanghalan, a popular radio and TV show in the Philippines in the 1960’s. He performed at big Manila hotels & lounges, and became the mainstay singer in Manila Garden Hotel for many years until he migrated to Chicago, USA in 1981. He took Chicago & Suburbs, Wisconsin, Michigan & Indiana and other big States by storm. He became instant success doing concerts, and performing in private and public gatherings of Filipinos, Spanish and Americans. He became a permanent mainstay in some big hotels and restaurant lounges.

He also did some successful concerts and released some CDs which until now is still selling online at CD Baby, Spotify & others. He and his wife Bella decided to move to Florida in 1998, where he started singing in some big gatherings and became the mainstay singer for four years at the popular Holiday Inn St. Pete Beach, FL. In 2008, they became active in Our Lady of Lourdes Dunedin Church, by going to church everyday and adopted the church as their second home. They helped the church a lot behind the scenes & helped raise funds through his devoted singing & impressive charcoal drawings. He became the offi cial artist of the church family. Mar Doreza is very happy now with our Lord and with Mother Mary.
