BRIGHT 40 Years – VIA TIMES

Happy Fabulous and Bright (40th) Birthday to Viatimes, its Publisher and Creator: Veronica, the vivacious woman behind Viatimes as we all are in the mood of celebration for forty (40) years since it got started in August 1982.

Well, well, well. . . we all heard “Life begins at 40!”. I say, life shines brighter at 40.”

Yes, I remember when I turned 40, it was fabulous and I started counting my age forward to “F-one”, (Fabulous-1. . . Fabulous-2. . . etc.) LOL!

Jokingly aside, forty (40) means “Time of Testing, Trials & Triumph”. I believe, we are in the season now of the third word: “triumph” after we have gone through the ups and downs of life. . . of triumphant celebrations and very difficult crisis and challenging tests and trials for all these years from birth personally and even as a nation and globally.

Just for more information, let me dissect the word “ViaTimes”. . . Via means “traveling through (a place) en route to a destination”. Times on the other hand, is “the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole”. Allow me to summarize these in more meaningful ways, using its acronyms as follows:

Surely, Veronica matches so well with her creation of Viatimes in her 40’s. That means Viatimes was like a child birth in her prime years. More importantly, Veronica has given more than half of her lifetime (blood, sweat, tears, etc.) serving us and the community of Greater Chicago and internationally as well. Let us all give her a well deserved honor as a pioneer leader in this industry. Her name really displays the brightness of her character and accomplishments, as follows:

I am so blessed to be part of the Viatimes family. This is my seventh year as a contributing writer of “On A Bright Side”. I do see Viatimes moving along brightly even brighter and brighter on its way to the brightest. As an encouragement to us all,
