The two other Miss Universe from the Philippines include Margie Moran (1973) and Gloria Diaz (1969), mother of actress and model Isabelle Daza.

Miss USA Deshauna Barber arrived late Wednesday night to the Filippino capital and shared her safe arrival with an Instagram post captioned,” “Mabuhay Philippines!!” which is a Filippino greeting.

Prior to her departure, Barber hung out and took pointers from the current Miss Universe Pia Wurzbach, who represented the Philippines last year. The most iconic moment from her competition was when host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner and had to correct himself for reading the card wrong.
