Richard Felicelda, owner and President of Starlab, Inc., continues to expand his burgeoning business by adding a school and a diagnostic services company, to date. What began as a small operation in 2011 with the launch of Starlab, Richard, inspired by his lovely wife Vermily and his children Kaylie, Kassy and Kaleb, continues to grow with the timely addition of a medical personnel school for home care. New Lake College in Elgin and his up-and-running Professional Diagnostics Services to complement his Starlab operations, therefore making him a one-stop, blood-testing facility for his growing clientele. Judging by the wonderful comments and compliments for their services from home-health owners that attended Starlab’s Christmas party, it was an honor again for me, on my third year as emcee of this expanding, upwardly mobile company. Richard’s business savvy, paired with his charming, easy-going personality, and the support of his wife Vermily, makes him the one to watch. Thank you, Starlab, Richard and Vermily, the support staff of Ann Parocha-Fernandez, Mark and the Starlab employees who are all fun, party people but hard-workers that helped Starlab grow, and the every increasing number of home health companies and clinics that use and support Starlab like party attendees Elbert and Elizabeth Regacho, Joe and Mabel Sacay, Darlene Benito, Mon and Alma Viudez, Ben and Tessie Lising, Robert Maroon, have helped to make this a great, successful year– Mabuhay Starlab!

Salvy Marino called me and invited me to join her for a New Year’s celebration in Las Vegas. She only needed to say two words, “Lady Gaga”, and there I was, driving from Los Angeles to meet-up with this classy lady who checked us into the posh and newer casino on the Strip, the Aria Hotel and Resort. With a view of the lively Las Vegas Boulevard for our four-night getaway, Salvy, coming from a Christmas family vacation from Mexico, and I, relinquishing my “Lala” duties for New Year, these two gals were ready for Vegas! The first night, we had dinner at Aria before watching Lady Gaga’s amazing concert that was sold-out to 6000 people at the Park MGM. An aerial entrance with the pop-star playing her crystal-studded guitar while dangling above our heads, set the mood for the future themed-show where she performed all of her top hits including her Oscar winning song “Shallows” that brought us to our feet for an encore. Unlike other Vegas shows, Lady Gaga proudly announced that her show was completely live, with NO, and she stressed that clearly, with NO lip synching! From the costumes, to the props, the dancers and the songs, it was a concert worth driving for. Another show Salvy and I saw was the Paula Abdul “Forever Your Girl” New Year’s eve concert at the iconic Flamingo. Again, we were thrilled to be there and see her dance and perform all her hit songs. We had to literally run across the street, which was by that time, closed off to auto traffic so we were free to walk Las Vegas Boulevard along with other New Year revelers who chose to welcome New Year in the biggest part town ever!

Thanks to Salvy Marino’s Seven Star status, New Year at Caesar’s Palace was the event to be in. Live performances, a sumptuous dinner, and an exciting countdown made up for a memorable New Year’s Eve — thank you, Salvy!

But the best part of this New Year is the celebration I had with my one and only grandson, Kenzo Kristoffer Wildoer, the precious time spent with my son and daughter-in-law, Kristoffer and Svienna, Wolf, Sonny Madera and Reyda Roxas, all God-send at this time, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

To my real-estate clients, buyers and sellers, thank you for making 2019 another banner year in production for me and my company, Realty Executives in Schaumburg. I am grateful for the accolades and awards, but nothing is more satisfying than the continuous support in using my services to work for you, through your referrals and recommendations— keep them coming- -my goal is to achieve yours! So let’s get going for 2020. Call, text or email me anytime!

Finally, to my family and friends, you know who you are. 2019 was a challenging year, but without your help and support, I don’t know how we could have managed. Praying for a better year ahead.

Blessings to everyone for 2020!
