Hands Across Chicago Memorial Day Prayer at Jeff erson Park Veterans Monument

Hands Across Chicago Memorial Day service was held at the Jeff erson Park Veterans Monument at noon on Saturday May 28th. Lead by American Legion Billy Caldwell Post 806, Edison Park United Methodist Church, New Life Community Church – Norwood Park, and Chaplain Fellowship Ministries the event was part of an initiative of, “Chicagoland United in Prayer”, an association of city and suburban churches in cooperation with Chicago Police Community Policing to bring the power of prayer to the forefront of establishing peace in our communities. Also present were offi cers of the CPD 16th District and it’s District Advisory Committee as well as members of the public.
