Chicagoland re-welcomes its newest entertainment dance host, the Chicago Dance Power. Organized with a mission to provide a fun social dance atmosphere to all Chicago dance aficionados who share the passion for expressing their love to dancing, networking and strengthening cultural diversity.

Embracing cultural diversity throughout Chicago is one of the goals of Chicago Dance Power. People from different cultures are welcome to join the dance events. Young and not-so-young dance lovers can sign up or show up to Chicago Dance Power’s events.

Chicago Dance Power’s revival will bring a new zone for anybody who loves to dance. One doesn’t have to be a dancer to join the CDP events. Both CDP founder Neneth Miranda and assistant Greta Soliman have said, “We have members who are either individuals or couples who are excited to join our sessions”

Chicago Dance Power (CDP) is one of the oldest dance groups/ clubs in our Filipino American community in Chicago that was founded and incorporated in January 2002, by Adoracion Francisco Bacatan, aka Neneth Miranda.

A very popular dance group, it has attracted many dancers and dancers to-be, and was emulated by many other groups that followed its footsteps.

It prides itself in crowning its original beautiful members with the title of Mrs. Chicago Dance Power: Ms. Alicia Mozo Monk (2002); Mrs. Elsa Castillo (2003); and Mrs. Marilyn Valdez (2004, in its precious history.

With its recent 2023 grand reopening, Ms. Greta Soliman has been acting as the overall coordinator (assisting founder Neneth) in making sure that things for the lively dance sessions are moving accordingly and the dancers are happy, comfortable, and satisfied.

One thing for sure, the Chicago Dance Power Group holds its dance sessions in the classy and cozy atmosphere of a HOTEL, in this case, the Doubletree Hotel Skokie, and not just in some kind of a school gym or even a banquet hall, in the amazing music of DJ Dones Mahayhay. Another plus is, the very inexpensive dance fee of only $15 to $25 that comes with food and drinks.

The remarkable relaunching of Chicago Dance Power on February 25, 2023 was held at the beautifully decorated Penthouse Room of the Double Tree Hotel in Skokie, IL. It was a well-attended event graced by 65-75 dance enthusiasts who did not spare a time to rest but rather spent a nonstop evening of energy release and physical exhibition. At the end of the night, attendees achieved another memorable moment brought about by Chicago Dance Power.

Interested dance aficionados may contact Ms. Greta Soliman through email at Gretavi2015@ gmail.com or telephone number (773) 331-7776 or Neneth at 224-324-6065, for future dance events.
