Carmen Baldoza-Banez, M.D., 89 years old, of Hinsdale, IL on March 02, 2023. Carmen was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Carmen, was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and her family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Carmen graduated from University of Santo Tomas in Medicine; Manila, Philippines. After graduating, she went on to pursue a career as a pediatrician as she embarked her journey to the USA in the state of Illinois. Carmen was a passionate and devoted mother who gave her all to her family, the Filipino American community, and she was a devout Catholic.
Carmen is the beloved wife of Jose Banez, and the late Maximo Baldoza, M.D.; and loving mother of Veramarie (Todd Everard) Baldoza, and the late Anthony Max Baldoza; cherished sister of Engr. Ignacio Gallego; stepmother to Ramon (Mary) Banez and Cristina (Ben) Paredes.
Please consider a donation in Carmen’s name to the Rizal Center or the Catholic Offi ce of the Deaf, as these organizations were important to her.
Visitation was held on March 8 at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hinsdale.
Mass was held on March 9 at 10am CST at St. Isaac Jogues in Hinsdale.
Her Private Burial was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
