KIDDIES FASHION SHOW BY Designer: PATRICIA GHONDA-ZOLA Here’s what she has to say about the start of her fashion creation…..”I was around 11 years old when I started crocheting. It was just a hobby at the time, something that my sisters and I shared with our grandmother as little girls.Started out making baby blankets then progressed to hats and booties for any baby around us even our dolls. I remember hiding in my mother’s fashion studio just to crochet. When she found out my hiding place, she started teaching me how to sew. As years went on, I kept creating more crochet as well as sewn children pieces and giving them away. I love seeing my creations on little innocent faces. Later on, the idea came to create a business with exceptional quality, cutest design, modern look and affordable prices in mind. Clothes to help cherish each baby moments, from baby shower, the arrival of a newborn, toddler years and beyond. I decided to go with “ANZHELIKA”. My grandmother’s first name which means “Angel” and that was the birth of “ANZHELIKA CROCHET”.
To be crowned PIWC Miss Chicago 2014 on June 7 is Neriza Miranda, 18, daughter of Nanet & Ronald Miranda, shown with sis Cheenee & brod Liam. She graduated with Honors from Hampshire High School and will be attending Columbia College this fall to pursue Graphic Design course.
