“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good. . . “ Genesis 50:20a
“When we work, we work and we get stressed-out. When we pray, God works and removes the stress out.”

In the midst of this shocking pandemic turning the world upside down in a moment, allow me to share the prayer God put in my heart for myself personally, immediate family and extended family. This was one among many miracles that came out of this “crisis” where “Christ-is” magnifi ed. This was the fi rst opportunity for us family to pray together all across the globe (USA: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego; Canada: BC & Edmonton; Australia & Philippines) via zoom. Praise the Lord! Please feel free to use this and share to others as well.

Prayer :

Lord Jesus, we lift and praise Your name as we continue our worship, to honor and glorify your name. We thank You for You are God sent from heaven who humbly chose to come to earth as man to redeem us. You made a way for us sinners to be reconciled back to God our Father and Maker.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Oh how we need You Jesus. You are our Savior and Lord Jesus, we open our hearts, minds, souls and spirits as we pray to hear your words in the Scriptures:

Isaiah 41:8-10 “But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend. You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you.”

Jesus, we thank you for your sacrifi cial love on the cross bearing our sins, inquiries and transgressions… even for sins of commission and sins of omissions, known and unknown…in thoughts, words and in deeds. We acknowledge our trespasses against you and others. Please forgive us. My Lord Jesus, You carried our burdens and lighten our loads. Thank you for Your gift of forgiveness. You suffered and died for us to have freedom and life. Thank you for our lives here on earth and eternal life in heaven.

As we remember your crucifi xion, death, and resurrection, may we all refl ect on Your goodness, mercy and grace. May we also not forget to share the Good News of the Gospel we received and share/ extend those to others.

We admit many of us are afraid … some are terrifi ed, and at times anxious for ourselves and our loved ones, as we are shaken all across the globe. Sometimes, it is hard for us not to feel helpless and confused, so we turn to You seeking comfort, peace, faith and hope. Teach us O God, to wait patiently for your instructions and not get caught up in panic…

When in doubt and unbelief surface, help us to truly believe and help us to surrender our unbelief. Help us to draw near you each moment especially in these times of trouble. May we choose to resist temptations thereby fall into deception. Keep our eyes keenly focused on Jesus not in our circumstances.

We exchange our fears with your faith for us not to react in anxiety but to respond in love, kindness and peace granting us serenity so we are able to give encouragement and support to others. Make us strong in our weakness so we may watch out for the weak and frail. May our young ones today take good care and respect our elders. Unite us with You and with one another; our family and the communities around the world.

Help each one of us to mindfully do our part obeying leaders you assigned in authority in order to stop the spread of this corona virus. Instead, may we share and tell others the blessing of receiving the Crown of Righteousness of Jesus. Send strength and courage to the people in the frontlines: doctors and nurses and others who are in the fi eld working in this battle together with You saving lives while risking themselves to help others needing assistance. Strengthen all of us as mighty vessels for you to use with the supernatural anointing of your healing powers.

Give wisdom, creativity and insight to the inventors, scientists and researchers as You bless their efforts working 24/7 across the globe to invent and discover cure for the healing of your people.

Guide the leaders of each nation at all levels with humility and wisdom to lead with courage and strength… to be wise and respond with compassion and dedication especially in emergencies as the needs come.

Help us, God, to see that we are all connected as one body of Jesus Christ, regardless of our faith backgrounds, beliefs and religions. Jesus, You are our Head, who saves and unites us working together as children of the family of God.

We believe and declare that we will all rise above this pandemic together with Your help.

We need Your divine intervention as you grant us healthy body, soul, heart and spirit, O Lord.

Watch over us as we sleep and guide as when we awake. We declare Psalm 91 for us and our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, etc. that we are hidden in secret places of the God Almighty.

God, help us to know you are fi ghting these battles for us victoriously and You are covering us with the precious Blood of Jesus protecting us from any harm or danger. Bless us all as we together pray…In the name of our Creator & Heavenly Father, our Savior & Lord, Jesus Christ and our Comforter & Peace-Giver Holy Spirit. Amen.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8;28
