2019 VERY IMPORTANT PINOY TOUR (AMBASSADOR’S TOUR) LAUNCHED IN THE UNITED STATES

WASHINGTON, D.C.– The Philippine Embassy announced today the launch of the 2019 Very Important Pinoy Tour (Ambassador’s Tour) that will feature the top tourism destinations of Manila, Bataan, Clark, and El Nido, Philippines on 14-21 July 2019.

“We are very proud and excited to launch the 2019 VIP Tour, which continues to be a flagship tourism project of the Philippine Embassy and Consulates General in the United States, the Philippine Department of Tourism, and Rajah Tours. As in previous years, the 2019 VIP Tour will feature top destinations in the Philippines and provide participants with a memorable vacation experience in the Philippines at an affordable price,” Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel G. Romualdez said.

The Ambassador also emphasized the attractions of the 2019 VIP Tour that would appeal to families and young tourists.

“The 2019 VIP Tour has something for everybody. This is a very important tour for Filipinos and Americans alike as it will delve into the shared history of our two peoples when we visit Bataan and Clark. Manila and El Nido will bookend the tour to showcase the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of our islands,” Ambassador Romualdez further said.

The basic tour package, starting from USD 1,110 for triple sharing (excluding international and domestic airfare), consists of a 2-night accommodation with breakfast at the Hilton Manila, overnight accommodations with breakfast at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar and Clark Marriott Hotel, and a 3-night accommodation with breakfast in hotel of choice between Seda Lio and Lio Estate Resorts in El Nido.

Also included in the package rate are hotel and airport transfers in the itinerary, services of tour guides, taxes and service charges, and the following tours and meals:

July 15 Wreath Laying at Rizal Park with Lunch at Malacanang

July 16 Tour of Bataan Peninsula with Lunch at a local restaurant and Barrio Fiesta Dinner at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

July 17 Lunch at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

July 18 Transfer to Clark Airport for flight to El Nido and dinner at the resort

July 19 Bacuit Bay Island Hopping Tour with Lunch Dinner at the resort

July 20 Dinner at the resort

Following the VIP tour is an optional 3-day tour package entitled “Filgrimage 2019” geared mainly for millennials and Gen Zs, who will have the chance to visit Fort Santiago, Corregidor and an underprivileged community in Cavite for an immersion activity on 22-24 July 2019.

If participants also wish to join Filgrimage, the basic tour package for triple sharing that will include accommodations in Makati Shangri-La will be USD 1,850 instead of USD 1,110.
