I’m running for Commissioner of Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD), the first Filipino American to run for this post in Illinois (running against about seven other mainstream candidates vying for the same position).
I am Cristina Nonato, a Filipino American woman of action, motivation and leadership. Thank you for your help, support and love for our wonderful cause not only helping the citizens of Illinois but also the peoples of the world.

Successful kick-off fundraising campaign to elect Cristina Nonato, for Commissioner of Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, held at the impressive backyard place with a small lake view owned by hosts Gary and Linda Leong of Downers Grove, IL last August 28, 2021. Cristina is the first Filipina to ever run for this position in Cook County of Illinois.
