9/11 and Afghanistan Connection –NEVER FORGET

Remember that sad, grim, and fateful day of 9/11 that still gives us the goosebumps to these days? Popular question that arose after the incident was, “What were you doing on that day that it happened?” So many post-9/11 tales, stories and rumors appeared and reported over the airwaves and personal waves likewise, with so many just too incredulous to fathom. And, the whole world has changed since then.

America went to war in Afghanistan to make sure another 9/11 never happened again, for the last 20 years, hunting for the terrorist leaders and its network connected with the fateful 9/11. President George W. Bush started the war in Afghanistan by invading the country after 9/11 and driving away the Taliban and Al Qaeda, which cost the US billions of dollars every month since then. Obama ramped up the military occupation to more than 100,000, Trump essentially gave the country back to the Taliban and reduced the military presence to 3,000. But President Joe Biden abruptly pulled troops out of the country last month. Now Biden owns the Afghan problem.

Going back to 9/11, I would like to share with you some humaninterest scenarios that are currently happening and stories that are still being remembered on this 20th anniversary, and will surely break everyone’s heart.

Nic Haros Jr., who lost his mother in the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City on 9/11, said Biden should not “show his face” this weekend, the Post Millennial reported. “It’s shameful for him, I think, to use the dead bodies as a political prop for his so-called victory lap. He is insensitive and he shows no compassion to the families,” Haros Jr. charged. “Those resurrected victims kept America safe from harm all those years. Biden must not dishonor their grace and patriotism. He has none,” he said. NEVER FORGET. Although Biden was not expected to deliver formal remarks, he made the ritual journey to sacred American landmarks of loss but kept a low profile by staying in the background. He also took part in wreath-laying ceremony at Pentagon.

Peter James Ganci, Jr. FDNY Chief of Department, rushed and arrived at the World Trade Center in less than 10 minutes and set up a command post. Chief Ganci instructed Mayor Giuliani, the fire commissioners and others to clear the area because it was apparent the North Tower would fall. However, Ganci himself would not evacuate the area, saying, “I am not leaving my men.” He and Commissioner Feehan were killed when the North Tower collapsed at 10:28 AM. It was said that Chief Ganci would never ask anyone to do something that he wouldn’t do himself. It was also said that he was always right in the front lines. This is why the FDNY are always called “the New York’s bravest”. NEVER FORGET.

The morning of September 11, Officer William Perry was off duty, filing his retirement papers when someone told him about the first plane hitting the World Trade Center. Instead of finishing his papers and leaving his shield and gun, he picked them back up, ran to the scene and immediately began assisting other first responders with the rescue operation.

Officer Perry could have turned in his papers and still could have run to the trade center to help, but he didn’t hesitate or delay. There was no time for that. Officer Perry did what he was born to do. For Officer Perry, it was the culmination of a lifetime of wanting to help and serve others. He died doing what he was born to do. Officer Perry was posthumously awarded the NYPD’s Medal of Honor for his heroic actions. NEVER FORGET.

Meanwhile, Fox’s Judge Jeanine Pirro railed against the “socalled commander in chief” for his despicable failure in Afghanistan and called President Joe Biden a “fumbling, lying, idiotic fool” for his failure to assist innocent Americans and Afghan allies in leaving the country that has delved into complete chaos. “Mark this day as the day the United States of America officially fell from grace as the world’s superpower,” Pirro began her impassioned opening statement Saturday on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.”

Here’s another Biden’s catastrophe in Afghanistan. It’s well known that the administration stranded at least 100 Americans in Afghanistan. One of them is a 25-year-old pregnant woman going by the name “Nasria.” In an interview with Voice of America (VOA), Nasria described living in fear after Joe Biden deserted her in Taliban-controlled territory. “There’s been days, you know, where I think to myself, ‘Am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up living here? Am I going to end up dying here? ’ ” Nasria told VOA.

The California woman added that the Taliban was now hunting Kabul for Americans. “Apparently, they’re going door to door now trying to see if anyone has a blue passport ,” Nasria stated. Nasria added that contrary to Joe Biden’s false claims, the Taliban did not permit safe passage for Americans to get to the airport and out of the country.

The 25-year-old Californian described chaotic scenes on the streets of Kabul and having to sleep on the street because of the mobs blocking access to the airport. “It was so hard to just get on a flight,” Nasria added. “There was a couple days where we had to sleep on streets. People were literally stepping over people. That’s how bad it was.”

Nasria explained that she was 15 feet from American troops at the airport, but Taliban fighters blocked the way and began shooting at her and her husband. “Our troops were literally at the gate just waiting for us to continue walking and they had blocked us,” Nasria recounted.

“There was a time that like I went past them and started walking as fast as I can, and they started shooting right by my leg and told me to come back. If I was only 15 steps away from the airport, and I was told people are going to come out of the airport to get me . S o what hope am I supposed to have now?” Nasria concluded. (Renewed Right)

NOT TO FORGET the heroic actions of the first responders in New York City, Washington, D.C., and the heroes on Flight 93, who fought back and lost their lives.

“Out of this catastrophe, American patriotism soared, a nation stood united, and the human spirit triumphed over evil – unbroken, determined, and stronger than ever. It is now our responsibility to educate future generations about what happened on September 11, 2001.”
