Busy Historic September

Though it seems that the “9/11” September news is being overshadowed by the news on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11, we still “don’t forget.” Our thoughts remain with the Royal Family, and all those mourning the Queen’s passing at this emotional time.

Chicago has been jumping with all kinds of concert performances coming from the Philippines since the ending of Covid restrictions in the U.S. Many lineups of upcoming shows are crowding the Chicago producers’ list of shows until the end of the year. Great thing, as we are helping Pinoy more talents to be appreciated by their longing fans in this part of the world.

One VT staffer who has been so busy gracing the Opening Acts of these performances is none other than our very talented young singer, Kayla Tejero, “YFA On Campus” columnist on page 22. Another busy-bee, acting as emcee and performers’ interviewer for CPRTV Show, is Maria Girlie Pascual (GMail columnist).

Goodbye Sweet September, as Kayla would say, as we are now at the beginning of the “BER” months and the ending of the beautiful summer months. We now must welcome the long cold-season winter months that many are dreading to come. More exciting celebrations are in the offing though, such as the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, including the wintry joys of skiing and playing in the snow.

Enjoy reading VT and have fun following your favorite VT columnists. Until next month! ##
