August is Hectic, But Enjoyment Is An Absolute!

Chicago’s super-active Fil-Am community has shown its acts of diligence, ingenuities, and performances for the combined months of July and August, with remaining June stories addenda.
As can be glimpsed from the photos we are featuring here, they are from the Philippine Independence gala celebration in June, May and June birthday photo celebrated in July, and a successful Ai Ai concert in August, produced by our advertiser Anne Teano (more concert photos to follow in the upcoming September issue).
The successful PIWC gala (with a record attendance of about 1200) is now featured on the cover with inside page story on page 7. Congratulations to Reynel Espiritu, PIWC Overall Chairperson 2026, and to the Beauty Queens Committee Chair Ginalene Lopez, who are both appearing together with the PIWC current beauties on this memorable August 2026 cover.
