Don & Flor Kramer, on their 45th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Forty-five years of fruitful (3 lovely children and 7 grandchildren) and lasting (no doubt) marriage, Flor and Don Kramer have been blissfully blessed, after their fateful meeting in Chicago, forty-some years ago, when Flordeliz Sanchez became Mrs. Donald Kramer, a striving, hardworking salesman now a very successful businessman, owning Seafood Merchant, Chicago’s top seafoods distributor in Chicagoland. . The Kramer children: Kandice, 44 and Dennis, 43, have produced seven beautiful granchildren for Don and Flor: Hannah-14. Luke-12. Jack-12. Will-10. Cameron-6. Ava-5. Joseph-3. Darren, 37, still remains single. As you can see, the lovely Kramer Family photograph speaks of family love, closeness, happiness and camaraderie. When asked about the secret for long-lasting marital bliss, Flor, who has served as a good and faithful housewife and doting mother to the family through the years, replies, “Really, I don’t know how this marriage lasted this long. It just happened. Hahaha. But, perhaps, through love and trust.”

The Kramer wedding anniversary celebration started with a memorial service officiated by Rev. Fr. Carlos Llagas for the newly-departed soul of Flor’s mother, who died 40 days before her 45th wedding anniversary. Held at Chateau Ritz in Niles, IL., last November 16, 2013, the Kramer guests feasted on delicious steak and lobster and premium drinks.
