Aaron Del Mar Fil-Am Candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois On November 3, 2026 General Election Bailey for Governor-Del Mar for Lt. Govenor Republican Party

Aaron Del Mar is a leader, entrepreneur, and family man whose life has been defined by service, dedication, and a desire to strengthen his community. Known for his energy and vision, Aaron has spent years taking on roles that bring people together, solve problems, and inspire others to lead with integrity.

He is a lifelong Illinois resident from the Village of Palatine, former city councilman, longtime township committeeman, and former Chairman of the Cook County Republican Party. He currently serves as a State Central Committeeman and have spent years working to engage citizens in the political process and strengthen local communities.

As an entrepreneur who has built and operated multiple successful companies in the event, hospitality, sports, printing, and entertainment industries, he has created jobs, managed large budgets, and gained firsthand experience navigating the challenges Illinois employers face every day.

His community involvement has always centered on service, volunteerism, and helping organizations grow. He has worked with countless local groups, charitable causes, business organizations, and civic leaders throughout Illinois. As a husband, father, business owner, and public servant, he understands the concerns of working families and small businesses. He believes leadership means listening, building consensus, and making decisions that create opportunities for future generations.

His platform is focused on creating opportunities for every Illinoisan, regardless of race, ethnicity, background, or zip code. The challenges facing many minority communities, high taxes, rising costs, crime, struggling schools, and lack of economic opportunity—are challenges that affect all families, but often hit minority communities the hardest. That’s why our priorities are centered on making Illinois more affordable, safer, and more prosperous. We want to lower property taxes, create a stronger business climate that brings jobs back to Illinois, support educational opportunities so parents have more choices, and restore public safety in neighborhoods that have too often been neglected by politicians. I believe minority communities don’t need more promises, they need results. That means good-paying jobs, safe streets, quality schools, affordable housing, and a government that works for them. My goal is to ensure that every family, whether they live in Chicago, the suburbs, or downstate Illinois, has a real opportunity to succeed and build a better future.

As the son of a Filipino immigrant who came to America in search of opportunity, he feels a strong personal connection to that story. He says, “My father built a life here through hard work and perseverance, and those values were passed on to me.” The Filipino-American community has made tremendous contributions to Illinois in healthcare, business, public service, education, and countless other fields. While every family’s journey is unique, I share an appreciation for the sacrifices many immigrant families made to create better opportunities for future generations. That connection has shaped my belief in the “American Dream,” and my commitment to ensuring Illinois remains a place where families can succeed, grow, and build a better future.
