OCTOBER 4, 2014, the international grand allroom of Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Chicago O’Hare was “blooming” with guests in their formal attire. They came from various parts of the United States to congratulate their friends and members of their families who were being honored that evening, bestowed upon them by the prestigious CHICAGO FILIPINO ASIAN AMERICAN HALLOF FAME (HOF)! Founded by this energetic and visionary Lady, Veronica Venus Bacatan Leighton, the HOF that evening was celebrating its 20th Anniversary! Its longevity, indeed, is a Testimony to how much HOF found credibility among the awardees and future awardees.
