An important update from Chicago Children’s Museum Regarding COVID-19

To the Chicago Children’s Museum Community,
In the interest of our community and each other, Chicago Children’s Museum will temporarily close to the public for at least two weeks, beginning today, March 13, 2020, at 5 p.m. School visits and events scheduled at the museum
during this time will be canceled and potentially rescheduled.

Over the next 14 days, we will continue to make additional adjustments and announcements as needed within that period, including assessment on when it is time to reopen.

While our immediate community of visitors is generally at low risk, we are electing to close to do our part in the social distancing that may help protect our community from the further spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
There has been no known incidence of COVID-19 within the CCM community.

This is the clear, right path that was informed by an enormous number of factors, including the deep care we have for the children and families we serve, as well as our greater community.

We’ve listed closure FAQs on our website:

www.chicagochildrensmuseum.org, and you can keep in touch with us on social media (Facebook and Instagram).

We wish you and your family good health and look forward to reopening and sharing our spring and summer programs with you and your littles!
