Get a Sense of Home Through Piyesta Pinoy 2014

GMA International, the business unit that oversees the operation and distribution of GMA’s three international channels – GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV International, is all set to boost the festive spirits of their kababayans in Chicago even more by participating in this year’s Philippine Fest Piyesta Pinoy 2014 on June 21.

Piyesta Pinoy is an annual event that celebrates Filipino culture. Through artistic performances, original Pinoy music, and authentic Filipino food, among others, Piyesta Pinoy presents the different facets of the Filipino culture that makes it vibrant and enthralling. Piyesta Pinoy is poised to wow more people with Kapuso Primetime King and premier leading man Dingdong Dantes to participate in the festival.

Dingdong rose to fame among GMA’s local and international followers for his nuanced portrayals in hit teleseryes Encantadia, Marimar,Dyesebel, and most recently, the sci-fi themed Genesis. This multi-talented actor, who oversees his own charitable institution, will again take on a challenging role alongside coveted actress Lovi Poe and the Philippines’ Diamond Star and newest Kapuso herself, Maricel Soriano, in Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.

The Philippine Fest Piyesta Pinoy 2014 is open to every Filipinos abroad who are craving for a sense of home. The event will be staged in the Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
