GMA Network pays tribute to the one and only German ‘Kuya Germs’ Moreno and his valuable contributions and loyalty to the Network by renaming one of its studios – the German Moreno Studio.
Marking the 85th birthday of Kuya Germs on October 4, the Network remembers the industry’s star builder extraordinaire and the man behind the ground-breaking variety shows at GMA including Germside, Germspesyal, GMA Supershow, That’s Entertainment and Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.
The momentous occasion was graced by various personalities close to Kuya Germs’ heart including MTRCB Chairperson Maria Rachel Arenas, Queen of Philippine Movies Ms. Gloria Romero, John Nite, and his grandchildren Jose Miguel, Franshesca, Luis Gabriel and Jaime Rafael Moreno. Kapuso stars Jestoni Alarcon, Tina Paner, Sheryl Cruz, Jackie Lou Blanco, Sanya Lopez, Jak Roberto, Jake Vargas, Renz Valerio, Marika Sasaki, Will Ashley, and other GMA Network executives were also present to honor their mentor, friend and father figure in showbiz.
