Brenda Stevens

THEN: Photo taken in Sept 1991 when Brenda was crowned Ms. Philippines International and was a columnist for the now-defunct Chicago Free Press.

NOW: An active community leader, Brenda served as the Region 3 Chair District 1- A Lions Club 2018 and currently serving as the president-elect 2021-23 of the Board of Trustees of PIWC.

 

Evelyn Cerceo

THEN: Graduated Nursing in 1972 at San Juan de Dios Hospital in Manila and BSN at Philippine Women’s University in 1973.

THEN: Married Richard F. Cerceo in 1978 (43 years married).

NOW: Photo taken in August 2021. A very happy retired RN, happily performing the work of a wife, a mother to three sons and a grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren.
She is also an avid golfer in four leagues, loves to travel the world, and a “Word With Friends “ enthusiast.
She is one of the founders of Simbang Gabi in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago in the early 2000 and held the position of Kapitana (president) of Samahan Sa Baryo in 2009-2010, a Filipino-American organization in Orland Park.
