Salvy Madrid Marino has had an excellent Academic background having graduated Valedictorian from elementary to high school from Saint Vincent De Paul, Manila, Philippines, an all-girls magnet catholic school run by Daughters of Charity Sisters. She graduated with Honors with a degree in Bachelor of Psychology and Nursing degree from the University of Santo Tomas and Concordia University, and earned her Masters degree in Public Health from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
She has held multiple top-notch corporate positions as Personnel Manager of Aboitiz Shipping Corporation and has been the CEO/Owner; Administrator of her own Home Health Agencies for 18 years. She worked as the Emergency Room Nurse at Stroger Cook County Hospital for over a decade and an Intensive Critical care Nurse from Du Page Medical Hospital. She is the founding president of a very highly-regulated business owners health organization, the Association of Certified Home Health Agencies In Illinois in 2009.
She is the current President of a very prestigious association, the Auxiliary Philippine Medical Association in Chicago, with the collaboration of the Philippine Medical Association in Chicago, which have been rendering medical and surgical missions to the underprivileged brethren in the Philippines. She credits her dear departed husband, Dr. Hector Marino, in paving the way for her to get involved and participate in the PMAC Auxiliary missions, humanitarian, and outreach programs.
A very passionate and vibrant person, Salvy is always ready and upfront to meeting the objectives and goals of her association. She is kind-hearted, generous, and is known personally for her great sense of humor and fashion-styles and luxuries.
