The Super Happy Months of June & July

The parties happen in the summer months and I am ecstatic to celebrate the warmth and buoyant spirits along with a few of my close friends and family members, plus a favorite family that closed on their gorgeous Schaumburg home with me, blessed by none other than the happy, holy, vibrant Father Mario Quejadas of St Walter Parish in Roselle. I want to start by wishing my niece Sabrina Pascual a Happy June birthday in her first apartment near downtown Chicago, a true sign of finally flying from the coop of your parents home, my brother Bently and his wife Pie. I enjoyed your beautiful penthouse soiree along with a sweeping view of the Chicago skyline so cheers to you Sabrina! Another notable birthday gathering was for our half year Illinois resident Don Antonio Garcia Sr of the posh village of Barrington in the Wynstone Subdivision. He held his birthday fete mostly to reunite with his brood of 9 children and a few of his closest Chicago friends at the trendy Westwood Tavern in the Woodfield area. Hosted by yours truly, it was a true celebration of Tito Tony’s kaleidoscopic life, as shown by a touching video of his family, the pictures for the presentation contributed by his own children. At a youngish looking 84, Tito Tony certainly shows us how to live life to the fullest, sowing love, kindness and years of success and wisdom to his personal community.

And finally, amidst sales, closings, family events, dinners, lunches, meetings, I found time to celebrate the house blessing of Normandy and Teresita Maranan who has sworn to everyone that this will be their last and final home after they sold their home in Streamwood, this couple decided to spend their happy years together in Schaumburg where their three grandkids, Raina, Ryan and Ryder reside. Blessed with two children, Norman Jr and Theresa, this active couple continues to defy expectations and aside from building this grand, modern home, added a brand new car to go inside their brand new garage as well. At their young ages of mid 70’s plus plus, Kuya Mandy and Ate Tessie count their blessings of life and love of family daily.
