There is Still Time to Move! Big Thanks to All!

There is that slight dip in nighttime temps that signal the soft approach of cooler days ahead, although this summer has been one of the most sunshine-(and heat-) filled days ever for this year. I am not complaining, on the contrary, I am rejoicing! Thanks to it being an election year, 2016 is shaping up to be one of my best years in real estate, and for that, I am thanking all of my clients that I assisted in their home buying and home selling process. Real estate seems easier, simple, but is it really? Sure, buyers can now search the internet and go to popular sites that will feature homes in your target areas, give you alternative homes when you’re searching in your price range, even help you calculate your mortgage payments; however, these sites will also direct you to a broker if you need one because simply put, you do.

With our expertise and local knowledge, your broker of choice can guide you through the whole home-buying or home-selling process, present you with comparables of what is listed and what’s been selling in your area, even give you pointers on what you could do to prepare your home for sale, or help you find a lender that will give you a mortgage for your new home. Along the way, we have a clean and comfortable vehicle for you to ride in when you’re looking at homes, an up-to-date roster of listings that are new to the market, or in some cases, homes that may be coming up for sale, and will always give you a true picture of the value of the home you are buying or selling. We are bound by local and federal laws that guide us when we deal with our clients, and work to earn your trust along the way.

It is always good to work with an experienced and knowledgeable broker, one that you can talk to and feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and opinions when working with one. Your input is very valuable because this is the only way we can work towards your goals when you are trying to sell your home, and in finding your perfect nest when you are buying one. With your feedback, we can navigate the home process with you easier and hopefully, give you our professional opinion when it is necessary and needed.

I have been a Realtor for over 30 years and now find myself working with the children of my original clients. After all, I do have a 30-year-old son that I took with me to my office and who has helped me prepare for my open houses, and has run errands for me especially after he got his driver’s license. What is most rewarding in my chosen profession is the look of joy and excitement when I have helped my buyers find their perfect home, or when I present a great offer to my sellers. The feeling of helping someone make a great decision in one of the biggest investments in their life is priceless.

Sure, real estate has gone up and down in my 30-year career, but experts say that it is still a great investment despite the dark years of our recent recession. Home prices have been slowly and steadily climbing, interest rates are at their lowest since I was licensed in 1987, but the change in lending parameters are now put in place to ensure that what happened from 2008 to 2012 in real estate must not happen again.

With this in mind, this is a great opportunity to re-enter the market, even if you had undergone a foreclosure or short sale because buyers are given a second chance to be homeowners again. Call me if you are thinking about it, or just to find out if you will qualify. Call me, too, if you are thinking of upgrading to a bigger home, or downsizing to a smaller one. One of the biggest groups coming out now are people buying second homes vacation destinations, or investment properties that they can easily rent out and maintain because they know that the upward trend of real estate is a good time to catch before prices hit their peak in their own markets.

Congratulations to Kevin and Valerie Ranchero on the happy announcement that they will be parents soon! They invited family and friends over to their house blessing and everyone turned up in full force to witness the unveiling of their baby’s gender and to everyone’s delight, IT’S A BOY! I am happy and grateful to have been a part of their journey as the broker for their new home and wish them abundant and infinite blessings in all the years to come.
