(Part 3)

6. Ask God for help – James 1:5 in the Amplified Bible says: “If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.” James 1:5 in the Contemporary English Version says: “If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God. . .” Asking the right person for help will solve all the problems you have. A little boy answered the phone very softly, “Hello.” “May I speak to the mother, please.” The little boy whispered, “She can’t come to the phone. She’s outside talking with the policeman.” “Okay, then let me speak to your dad, please.” The little boy whispered, “Sorry. He’s outside talking to a different policeman.” “Well, is there anyone else there?” “There’s a policeman here.” “Could I speak to him then, please?” “No, I’m sorry he’s rather busy.” “Is there anyone else there?” the caller asked, beginning to sound a little exasperated. “There’s a fireman …” “You have all these people there and none of them can come to the phone? What are they doing?!” The voice answered “They’re all looking for me!” When adversity strikes. . .when personal storm clouds appear on the horizon. . .we don’t have to go looking for God. . .He’s already there. There is not a gust of wind, a bolt of lightning or even a drop of rain that’s unfamiliar to God. He knows everything about us. . .and He’s always ready for us to ask Him for His help. Ephesians 6:18 in the New Century Version says: “Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up. Always pray for all God’s people.”

7. Visualize where you’re headed -Write this down. . . I need to visualize where I’m headed. I need to visualize my miracle. I need to visualize my success. I need to visualize me. . .as a rich thinker. God’s promise is so very important because every Bible hero has had to start by visualizing their miracle. Where they were headed in life.Abraham could not receive from God until he saw himself the way God intended him to be. God wanted him to be the father of many nations. However, Abraham saw himself childless. As long as this unscriptural vision of himself prevailed, no miracle child could come to Abraham. Hear the unbelief that filled Abraham’s imagination: Genesis 15:2 says: “…Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless.” Can you just imagine God saying: “Abraham, I can’t give you a child if you don’t see yourself with a child. I want you to get a fresh, new vision of the countless generations I am going to give you.” Scripture tells us that everything changed as soon as Abraham began to see himself receiving from God. Genesis 15:5 says: “And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them, and he said unto him. So shall thy seed be.” Abraham visualized his generations of children every time he beheld the stars at night. I’ll share with you one other example of visualizing your miracle. Joshua 1:4 says: “From the wilderness . . . even unto the great river Euphrates, all the land… shall be your coast.” Notice that God is always very specific about the vision He gives His people. He didn’t say “….just go and pick out any old piece of land.” He had a choice, handpicked piece of real estate in mind for them. Use your memory. Replay past victories. Use your imagination to pre-play in your mind those miracles that your heart has desired from the Lord. Visualize your miracles. . .visualize where you’re headed in life. This will take you through troubled times in a land of misery to the place God promised … a land of peace filled with His blessed assurance. (Rich Thoughts by H. Herring) As you visualize where you’re headed in 2015 – may the peace of God rule your heart and mind in Christ Jesus! May this new season in your life be filled with the prosperity and promotion from the Lord! And above all – may His holy presence surround with His protection; may His divine purpose in your life be fulfilled for your good and for His glory and may His power be made manifest in all that you do! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY BLESSED AND PROSPEROUS 2015!!!
