Thank You’s From Charitable Hearts

Dear Veronica, Thanks for your generosity and magnificent efforts at helping the Filipino community, and now our favorite charity, the Seminarian Education

Fund Merry Christmas!

EDITH & NESTOR ARDIENTE (Past Hall of Famers– Edith is the 2015 VIAWoman of the Year — the winner of HOF Trip to the Philippines prize).

Dear Joe & Veronica,

Thanks to you, life will be brighter for someone who was once forced to sit in darkness once the sun descended. Though you have never met this person or experienced their struggles, your graciousness has provided them with HOPE, which stands for Health, Opportunity, Power & Education.

Your compassionate donation will help equip vulnerable families in third world countries with the crucial light they need to meet their basic needs, and eliminate reliance on toxic kerosene. With light, these people are now able to lead healthier and happier lives while engaging in productive activities throughout the entire day.

While the need for light is endless, our vision is made possible by the concerned people like you who are proud to call our partners. Together, we will help reduce global poverty by providing the necessary tools to end dependence on deadly kerosene, while providing the opportunity to extend incomegenerating hours well into the night. We provide sustainable solutions for a brighter world.

Please visit us at www.wattsoflove.org and connect with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to learn more about our current projects, and to share in our successess. Your willineness to partner with us enables us to grow and, therefore, continue to make contributions to those in need.

Dear Vero & Joe:

Happy Holidays and CONGRATS again for a very successful HOF gala event. We would have loved to join the CPRTV family come Dec 13, but we will be in Philippines, as I am supposed to be one of the resource speakers for the Head & Neck Surgeons of the Philippines’ Convention.

THAKS to both of you. Please have a JOYOUS THANKSGIVING, A BLESSED CHRISTMAS & HEALTHY HAPPY NEW YEAR.

God bless,

Dr. Jesse & Nora Corres (Recipient of 2014 Excellence in Medicine, Chicago Filipino Asian American Hall of Fame)

Dear VT Editor:

I could not put down your October and November issues featuring the 2015 Chicago Filipino Asian American Hall of Famers, as a matter of fact, I kept on rereading the wonderful bios and articles of the outstanding individuals that you have featured for the most coveted award.

I salute you for doing this wonderful thing for our community as it always gives me “shockwaves” to be reading from other publications some stories of misfortunes that befell some members of our community for the sad mistakes they have committed in their lives. Keep up the good job in publishing the good deeds & accomplishments of many people out there that we should really be proud of.

Just a thought: You are the one deserving of the award you are givng.

Marela Ventura-Chicago, IL.
