CHICAGO, IL—On December 4, 2022, I was honored and humbled to receive the support from the leadership of the Filipino American Leaders of Greater Chicago and the VIA Times Newsmagazine. The Filipino community is a very important part of our city. The contributions of Filipinos in Chicago are many. During COVID-19 Filipino doctors and nurses put their lives on the line to take care of others. Their commitment and dedication made our city proud. Filipinos can be found leading businesses like Max’s Chicken, home health care agencies and others. I look forward to providing the Filipino community a voice in city hall. Our Administration will reflect the great diversity of our city.

Together, we will rebuild our city and bring safety to every neighborhood. We will reduce the tax burden on our citizens and end red light and speed cameras. We will have a world class education system that leaves no one behind. And we will prioritize mental health funding, our seniors and those who have served our country.
