Jesus (“Jess”) Guzon Oct. 15, 1937 – Dec. 15, 2021

Jesus (“Jess”) Guzon father, brother, grandfather and friend to many, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021.

A graduate of Far Eastern University in the Philippines, Jess found success as a medical technologist for many hospitals and clinics in the Chicago area. Once an active member of the Chicago Filipino community, Jess was best known for being behind the video camera documenting community events for VIA Times and Filipino News Reports.

Jess is survived by his daughters Jenny (husband Donald Bae, son Casey Bae) and Jema (husband Marc Villaluna and sons, Mason and Landon). He at peace now, free of the challenges that a massive stroke faced him with eight years ago. His physical presence, strength, soft heart and love of family will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in all of us.

A private memorial service will be planned for a later date.
