Endearing Maria Pappas, Cook County Treasurer, and the Filipino American Community in Chicago

Top photo shows Maria with her co-awardees when she received her prestigious Friend of the Filipino award at the Chicago Filipino Asian American Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Gala Night last November 10, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. She is shown in the other photos with Fil-Am leaders at her office for the occasion of Phiippine Independence celebration in 2019, headed by Consul General Gina Jamoralin. Pappas’s office also holds an annual huge Christmas gathering of international ethnic leaders of Chicago for the annual displays of beautiful ethnic Christmas trees at her office.
