Rodrigo’s Tagaytay Road Ghost Story

Rodrigo was lagging behind his motorcycle group as they traversed Tagaytay road on their way to Calatagan. So somewhere between Picnic Grove and DBP, he gunned his bike to catch up with the group. As a result, he skidded at a turn and crashed, totalling his bike.

To make things worse, a storm and heavy fog had rolled in so no one saw his accident.

Rodrigo had to pick himself up and walk to wherever he could to get help…

There he was walking on the side of a very dark and foggy Tagaytay ridge road in driving rain and howling wind with his thumb out hoping and praying someone would see him and give him a ride.

There were hardly any cars out that night. But fortunately his prayers were heard and answered. Right before the junction going to Manila, he saw a pair of headlights looming ghostlike in the same direction he was heading.

The headlights stopped for him. “Thank God, for good Samaritans,” Rodrigo muttered to himself.

And so without a second look or thought, he hopped in the car. Once inside the car Rodrigo was jolted by the fact that there was nobody else but him in the car!

He was alone in a driverless car on a very dark deserted road on a foggy stormy night!

Naturally he was too terrifi ed, too frozen by fear to jump out the ghostly car.

The car continued its slow journey forward… after a few hundred meters on a downhill part of the road Rodrigo saw a sharp curve coming up… once again he prayed, this time even more fervently, because he was sure the driverless car would go off the road and plunge over the cliff taking him down to his certain death.

But just before the curve a hand suddenly reached through the driver-side window and turned the steering wheel to guide the car safely around the bend!

With ever increasing terror, Rodrigo watched the hand reappear every time the car had to round a dangerous curve.

But eventually he got used to the reappearing mysterious but life-saving hand and he was able to muster enough courage – and strength – to leap out the car and run to the nearest place where he could see the faint light of houses…

Wet and shaking from fear and the cold night, he went into a store and bought two bottles of Red Horse beer and with voice quaking he recounted his horrifying ghost story to the store owner and everyone else there.

Stunned silence followed Rodrigo’s tale, specially after his audience concluded he was neither nuts nor drunk despite the way he looked..

Fifteen minutes of total silence passed before three men walked into the store and one of the men recognized Rodrigo.

The man pointed to Rodrigo and said to his companions… “Yan!!! Yan yung gagong sumakay sa atin kotse habang tinutulak natin !!!” __________

Friend Request on FB

Yesterday I received a friend request from a young attractive, about 19-20 years old female. I was curious. I wanted to know why someone that young wanted to be my FB friend. So I accepted it. Then she started sending me private messages. She called me handsome. She asked my age. I’m not a liar so I told her and reminded her I’m quite a bit her senior. And I let her talk a bit cuz (truth be told) fl attery ain’t all bad. We kept chatting for a while and within a short time, she asked if we could talk about ‘adult things’!

I said ok. Then she said ‘thank you, babe, you start.”

So I did! I told her adult things like I have arthritis and my knees and how it hurts badly. My back acts up when it is cold outside. I explained that I have crazy insomnia. And I didn’t forget to tell her that I have a pacemaker. I also didn’t forget to tell her that I have good quality dentures. I was as honest as I could be about ‘ADULT THINGS’ but I don’t understand why she blocked me!

$250 For Sleeping With Me

A woman decided to give herself a big treat for her 70th birthday by staying overnight in a really nice hotel.. When she checked out the next morning, the desk clerk handed her a bill for $250.00. She demanded to know why the charge was so high “I agree it’s a nice hotel, but the rooms aren’t worth $250..00 for just an overnight stay – I didn’t even have breakfast!” The clerk told her that $250.00 is the ‘standard rate,’ and breakfast had been included had she wanted it. She insisted on speaking to the Manager. The Manager appeared and, forewarned by the desk clerk, announced: “This hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center which are available for use.” ”

But I didn’t use them.” ‘Well, they are here, and you could have.” He went on to explain that she could also have seen one of the in-hotel shows for which they were so famous.”We have the best entertainers from the world over performing here.” “But I didn’t go to any of those shows..” “Well, we have them, and you could have.” No matter what amenity the Manager mentioned, she replied, “But I didn’t use it!” and the Manager countered with his standard response. After several minutes discussion, and with the Manager still unmoved, she decided to pay, wrote a check and gave it to him. The Manager was surprised when he looked at the check. “But Madam, this check is for only $50.00” “That’s correct I charged you $200.00 for sleeping with me.” “But I didn’t!” “Well, too bad, I was here, and you could have.” Author Unknown
