First Filipina American woman to compete for the title of Miss U.S. Supranational as Miss Illinois U.S. Supranational 2015

cm1Nicole Tuquilar, 25 years old, is going to be competing for the national title of Miss U.S. Supranational at the Miss U.S. Supranational Pageant held in Orlando, FL from June 22nd-26th. She is from Gurnee, Illinois a northern suburb of Chicago.

A graduate student from North Park University in Chicago, she also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the same college in 2012 and majored in Sociology.

In February 2015, she has been honored the title of Miss Illinois U.S. Supranational 2015. Before being honored as a titleholder, she competed for the title of Miss Illinois USA 2015 back in September 2014 and was placed in the top 15 semifinalist representing Miss Lake County USA 2015 and was honored the “People’s Choice Award.” She wants to work with children one day with those in special needs and has been involved with volunteering her time for those that speaks limited English. Sociology has influenced her platform work with children. In her spare time, she likes to travel, spend time with her friends & family, play bowling, jet skiing, going to rock concerts, and spending time in the beautiful city of Chicago. Her favorite sport teams are the Chicago Bears and Chicago Blackhawks.
