Reyna E. Nuqui July 18, 1935 – Oct. 25, 2021

Reyna Nuqui, nee Enriquez, age 86. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Carlos M. Nuqui. Loving mother of May (Eliseo) Jauregui, Rochelle (Mark) Kelly, Charles (Lynn), & Rosalie (Rich) Tonsul. Fond grandmother “Lola” of Louis (Linda), Jaclyn Jauregui & Melisa (Danny) DeLeon, Rebecca & William Kelly, Celine & Christina Nuqui, & Abigale, Conrad & Tiff any Tonsul. Cherished sister-in-law of Rosario “Tati” Reyes and cousin of Dr. Jose Enriquez “Uncle Ping”. Reyna enjoyed spending many hours with her faithful caregiver Lucy Babi “Momma Lucy”. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Reyna was the owner and proprietress, since 1978, of Pampanga’s Cuisine Filipino Restaurant in the Edgebrook-Sauganash neighborhood of Chicago. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27 from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave, Chicago IL 60646. Funeral on Thursday, October 28 from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home at 9am to Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646, for a funeral mass at 10am.
