Chicago’s Teen Singer Serenades VP Robredo in Philadephia

Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo was the Guest Speaker at the Gala Event of the 12th National Empowerment Conference of NaFFAA held at the Valley Forge Casino in Philadelphia, PA on August 6, 2016. Some 500 guests gathered to listen to VP Robredo. During the reception, VP was entertained by performers from New York and Chicago. Our very own Chicago’s teen singing sensation, Kayla Tejero, was one of the 3 performers who serenaded VP Roberdo. Kayla belted out a Dusty Springfield’s old time favorite, “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me.” Kayla will be performing at the 2016 Chicago Filipino Asian American Hall of Fame on October 29, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago O’Hare. 15 years old and Chicago’s teen singing star, Kayla Tejero..
