Kayla Tejero Performs at the Piyesta Pinoy held in Navy Pier

Chicago’s local performers highlighted the recent Piyesta Pinoy at Chicago’s Crystal Gardens in Navy Pier on March 20, 2016. Our young Fil-Am singer Kayla Tejero performed the song, Open Arms by Journey to the delight of the audience. Kayla started singing at age 4, she has taken voice lessons until now and she won numerous singing competitions singe age 10. She previously performed in Fil-Am community events in Michigan, Georgia and Missouri. Last summer, she performed at the Governor’s Lawn in Springfield on a by-invitation only event.

Kayla has also graced community events here in Chicago. She is scheduled to perform again in June 2016 for the Piyesta Pinoy in Bolingbrook. She was invited to perform at the 2016 Ms. Puerto Rico Pageant in Aurora, IL. In August, she will be performing in Philadelphia at the Gala Event of a national Fil-Am event.
