Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services is located in Schaumburg and also serves Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Streamwood and surrounding communities. Ahlgrim & Sons has been family owned and operated for over 125 years. The Ahlgrim family has had deep roots in the communities they serve and a deep commitment with their support of local charities, schools and other community events. We stand ready to serve our communities in time of need, by providing prompt service with a trained, caring and supportive staff. Ahlgrim & Sons offers everything from a simple to traditional cremation or funeral ceremony. We work with each family to customize the personal funeral details expressing the thoughts and ideas that make a difference to them. Your service can be held in your place of worship or in one of our newly decorated and spacious chapels, with seating for over 100. We include a family DVD slideshow that is played on our 60-inch TV screens, inside our chapels. Every family has use of their own recently renovated lounge. We also include pallbearer gloves, and religious emblems. Ahlgrim & Sons dedicated staff works and plans closely with each family to make the funeral service an extension of the deceased’s lifestyle, beliefs and traditions.

Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services is conveniently located with plenty of parking and access to major roads and highways.

We also acknowledge the great service and sacrifice made by our Veterans by completing and filling out all paperwork to insure each family of a deceased Veteran receives all benefits to which they are entitled. These include scheduling a Military honor team, arranging burial at our National cemetery, the playing of “Taps”, a formal presentation of the U.S. flag, presidential memorial certificate and a protective case for their flag. We will treat you the same as we would our son and brother, LCDR Michael Ahlgrim, USN (Ret) after his 20 years in the US. Navy and our grandson and nephew 1st LT Michael T. Ahlgrim, USMC.
