Tuesday, Feb 6: Waiting at Woy Woy Written by Robin George and Illustrated by Emily Snape. In the sleepy Australian seaside town of Woy Woy, two beloved animals help their community learn what it means to take action and live in the now! Young Readers will find themselves returning again and again to the courageous tale of Waiting at Woy Woy! Reasons why we love this book: calming, yet playful, rhymes and soft, inviting illustrations!

Tuesday, Feb 13: Messy Monkeys Written by Sabrina Andonegui and Illustrated by Lea Marie Ravotti. Everywhere Macy goes, messy monkeys are there to stir up her day! She decides to pause, to listen to them, and to hear what they need. All the monkeys wanted was Macy’s attention! In learning deep empathy for her own emotions, Macy is finally able to quiet her mind. Reasons why we love this book: lessons in emotional intelligence for Young Readers and an interactive emotions chart after the story ends! Sunday, February 11th in Industry City, Brooklyn: Read Aloud with the author and illustrator.

Tuesday, Feb 20: Counting Cows Written and Illustrated by Bryan Ballinger. Theater janitor, Chuck Dükman, is ready to fall asleep but not until he finishes his sweeping duties. He accidentally takes a snooze and is roused by a cowcophony of clowns! They romp around, honk horns, tightrope walk, unicycle ride, toss pies & overall make a disastrous, hilarious mess until Chuck Dükman regains control of the stage and demands clean-up help. Reasons why we love this book: A “count to ten (and down again)” as well as a “get ready for bed” book!

Look out for these new titles all month long at your local bookstore and at major retailers!
