The Rev. Pascual Tayco & His Wife Lydia Celebrating Their 6th Covenant of Love

HAPPY and BLESS-FULL sixth WEDDING ANNIVERSARY to Pastor Pascual Moreno Tayco and Sister-in-the-Lord Lydia Alberto Tayco, co-founders of THE GREAT COMMISSION WORLDWIDE MINISTRY in Chicago and in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, hometown of Sis Lydia. As of today, the Taycos’ newly-founded ministry has over a hundred members, and the number is fast increasing. In Chicago, their Bible Study Ministry every Sunday evening keeps touching and reaching out to many Christian hearts regardless of their Christian denomination membership, i.e., Roman Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Born Again, etc., for as long as they believe in Jesus as their Christ and Savior. In fact, as a Faithful Servant of the Lord, I feel “touched by the Holy Spirit” as the three great ministers – Pastor Tayco, Pastor Nimrod Tica, and Pastor Bob speak clearly how the love of God impacts in our lives in various ways minus “fanaticism”. I was so touched by the Holy Spirit and is happy to be a member of this group. (I am an Ordained Elder at my church: Faith Community Presbyterian Church in Chicago, founded in 1945 by the early Filipinos. If you love the Lord and want to know more about Him, call me or Pastor and Lydia Tayco to come and “observe”. Then decide.)

To Rev. Pascual Tayco and Sis Lydia, their growing Ministry is, indeed, a fulfillment of their missionary. Sis Lydia, who started as a Bible Teacher for the Youth at age 14 in the Philippines, their current ministry is a fulfillment of her childhood Dream Mission-turned-reality “when the Lord brought Pastor Tayco in my life,” she said. “By faith, Pastor Tayco had touched my late husband Don in bringing him closer to the Lord before calling him to ‘Come Home.’ To my husband, Pastor Tayco – one important Blessing we both want to receive for the rest of our lives – is to be able to “build a House of Faith here and more so in the Philippines to teach the world How Great is our God,’ Sis Lydia concluded.

“Amen”, Pastor Tayco seconded.

To Sis Lydia and Pastor Tayco: celebrating their Sixth Wedding Anniversary was more than just to have a party; it is a celebration of a “covenant relationship with the Lord.” It was a huge part of their Ministry. Following the symbols of the covenant God made with Abraham in many of today’s Christian wedding traditions.

TO THE TAYCOS: From our SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY GROUP at your Home – WE WISH YOU A HAPPY AND BLESS-FULL 6th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. MAY OUR DEAR LORD continue to Bless your Ministry with good health and Love. Thank you for welcoming us to your “Home Sanctuary” every Sunday evening to study God’s Holy Words. Amen.

1 CORINTHIANS 13: 1-13: “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.”
