Founding member of the North American Basketball Association, an intercity consortium of basketball leagues across Canada and the United States comprised of Filipino children and adults. Former president and founding member of the United States Filipino Basketball Association.
Visitation at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Niles, IL, Funeral service held March 11, 2024, starting with a short prayer at the funeral home and procession to St. Isaac Jogues Church for 10:00 A.M. Mass. Benito was cremated privately following all public services.
