‘Pusong Pinoy Sa Amerika’ is now on GTV

The number of Filipinos migrating to the United States has increased dramatically over the decades. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 battle globally, Filipino labor migration has grown modestly as some seek better job opportunities or want to reunite with their migrant family members and friends in the USA.

To educate our fellow countrymen on migration policies, GMA Pinoy TV has premiered the magazine program “Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika” in the Philippines on GTV. On their pilot episode last May 2, renowned immigration lawyer Atty. Lou Tancinco talked about US President Biden’s new immigration policies and how these can affect future immigrants.

Furthermore, on its 16th season, Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika offers information on labor policies, temporary working visa applications, path to naturalization, travel restrictions, and expectations on settling down in the land of the free.

The program has been airing on GMA Pinoy TV since 2006 and has educated many Filipino immigrants on the right way of processing their visas. For the past years, it has been globally recognized by some prestigious award-giving bodies including the Telly Awards, NAMIC Vision Award, and MAM Awards by the Commission on Overseas Filipinos.

“Samahan ninyo kami sa ating season 16 at ating talakayin ang mga bagong policies sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Joe Biden na makakatulong sa mga kababayan natin na nais manatili at manirahan sa Amerika,” Atty. Tancinco announced.
