Happy Birthday Arlene Inocencio

What would a “woman of a certain age” wish for on her natal day? What would a self-proclaimed “survivor” and woman of tested mettle want to mark another milestone year in her life? And what would her loved ones want to give her to show how much they appreciate her sacrifices and selflessness for them ? What else, but all that they could, and come out in full force in love and celebration to honor their wife, mother, sister, friend and family, with music, laughter and memories that she can hold onto, a special evening that reminded everyone of how special and beautiful she is to them, to all.

Happy birthday Mrs. Arlene Inocencio, wife of Dr. Ruben Inocencio, mother to Christie, Malou, Dino and Mylene, mother-in-law to Melody, eldest sister to 11 siblings, and friend to most, if not all, in the Circulo Capampangan group. Her humble beginnings in San Fernando, Pampanga and remarkable journey has blessed her with her brood– Jessica McKeon, residing in Chicago with her husband Jed, Cristina Dizon residing in Manila, Dino Dizon, residing in Schaumburg with wife Melody and kids, and Mylene Dizon, accomplished actress in Manila. Arlene is currently residing in Skokie with husband Ruben.

With the Muzik Band playing for her guests, and with her husband Ruben, grandaughter Jassie and her children serenading her with songs, the guests truly enjoyed the evening filled with sentiment, laughter, memories and accolades lovingly bestowed upon Arlene who was resplendent in her bright red and silver gown, gushing with joy as she called her family to join her center stage and thank her guests for celebrating with her that night.

Arlene, ever gracious and thoughtful, asked me to include this personal message to all: Special thanks to my children who travelled far to be with me… Ms. Mylene Dizon (Manila) Ms. Cristina Dizon (Manila) And, of course, for the two remaining children who helped me prepare for my party, Mr. Dino Dizon and wife Melody Dizon Mrs. Jessica Mc Keon and spouse Jed Mc Keon And lastly but not the least , my sweetheart, Dr. Ruben Inocencio, who has been my partner all these years, thank you for your love and affection. I hope everyone enjoyed the party as much as I did. Thank you as well to all my Circulo ng Capampangan friends who came . For all my BFF’s, you know who you are, I need not mention names but for the friendship we all share , I truly appreciate you, all of you. Most especially, thank you to our Heavenly Father for granting me 70 years of life full of experiences, laughters and tears. Through it all, I became who I am because of His continued guidance and blessing in my life. Maraming maraming salamat po. Compliments to: MuzikEngine Bnd for the live entertainment; My son Dino Dizon, who was the photographer for the night; Ashley Dizon, for her rendition of songs to me…Maraming Salamat sa inyong Lahat!

And, on that note, please let me end this by extending my appreciation to Arlene and her family for making me a part of her circle that night. Arlene is currently in Europe on a three-week trip with her daughters at the time of this writing. Safe travels Mrs. Inocencio…we can’t wait to see more of your chapters in your very colorful and inspiring life.##
