IN LOVING MEMORY

ROMEO GAMBOA VINCOY, son of Moises (deceased) and Encarnacion Vincoy, natives of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines passed away last August 18, 2015 in Dumaguete City, Philippines.
Vincoy was hailed as “Tawag ng Tanghalan” singing champion for six weeks, a very popular television show in Manila, Philippines showcasing Philippine singing talents in the 1960’s.
A long-time Chicago resident, active community leader, and most sought-after singer, he was married for many years to former Fely Relencia, R.N., a native of Balayan, Batangas, also a Chicago resident and an active community leader in the Chicago Filipino American community.
He is survived by his wife, Fely, mother, Encarnacion, sisters Anita Abella, Myrna, Monique, Roseville & Roselle; brothers Orlando, Manuel & Rodolfo of Dumaguete City, Philippines.
A Memorial Service in honor of the departed will be held on September 27, 2015 at 2:00P.M. at St. Eulalia Catholic Church, S. 9th Ave., Maywood, Illinois.
