The Oxymoron of Home Healthcare’s `Pre-Claim’

It is election time again, come November, and politicians are campaigning hard, promising job creations for all Americans. But what about for the Americans that already have jobs and/or exisitng businesses?

One sector of our society today in the State of Emergency is the “Health Care Industry.” Where is the Small Business Administration, the agency that provides support to entrepreneurs and small businesses with a mission, “to maintain and strengthen the national economy by enabling the establishment and viability of small businesses and by assisting in the economic recovery of communities after disasters”?

The Home Healthcare businesses are now in the state of calamity, nearing extinction, due to the Medicare’s “pre-claim” requirement (which is quite hard to understand at this point). How can you help, SBA?

The oxymoron of the federal agency’s rules and regulations on healthcare are a bit confusing for us, one agency acting as a destroyer of existing businesses and the other portrayed as a defender of small businesses. The local politicians are also promising job creations.

The healthcare people already have existing jobs driven by what we call the “American Dream,” which the Medicare agency is now trying to exterminate. Thus, there goes the “Immigrants’American Dream”.

What is the Federal Government’s Medicare agency trying to hide? Every American, especially the healthcare industry group, should be asking that question for transparency. Why is Medicare targeting this particular sector of the business, instead of helping alleviate their services to the people and the communities they serve?

The recent federally-mandated disclosure was supposed to allow patients to compare them with hospitals and other clinics across the country. But how could patients compare, if there is a pre-claim review in place? It’s just like, “You’re already guilty before the due process takes place. Exactly the feeling of the healthcare industry, as a whole.” We are asking for the Congress of the United States to look into the issue of the “pre-claim review” for homehealth care businesses. Is this constitutional? Remember, the healthcare industry is for caring, giving quality care for patients, coupled with correct diagnoses to cure and heal the patients.

We are asking the politicians from all over the country to extend help to the healthcare industry to maintain their employment status quo.

We are likewise asking for a reform of that ailing Medicare agency and, additionally, to create a more transparent reform policy, in case there is a plan for future changes or improvement for the HH businesses scenarios.

If we are to rescue endangered species of animals, now is the time to rescue the industry that cares for our fellow human species from extinction—act now before it’s too late. Quo Vadis, Medicare and SBA? HELP!!!
