RJ & Jo Anne Turija 25th wedding anniversary renewal of vows

Held at Cantigny Park Picnic Pavillion in Wheaton, IL – June 26, 2022

ASilver Wedding Story – RJ and Jo Anne Turija recently celebrated their 25th year Anniversary with a Renewal of Vows officiated by Rev. Fr. Santos Castillo. This was held at Cantigny Park Picnic Pavillion in Wheaton, IL on June 26th 2022. The simple Celebration was witnessed by close friends and families dressed in a Tea Party theme attire in a garden wedding setting. The two met and got married in the Philippines 25 years ago and were bl essed with two gorgeous children who are now both in College. Their son Rene Joseph is a Junior Student Majoring in Physical Therapy at UIC and daughter Abby is a Sophomore Nursing Student at St. Francis University. RJ is a Building Engineer at Craughwell Troy School District and a former Brgy. Captain and a civic community leader in the Philippines before he moved to the US to join his wife in 2001 and JoAnne on the other hand is a Registered Nurse at SilverCross Hospital. These two lovely couples are the Founder, President and Vice President of the Santacruzan Cultural Group of Greater Chicago, members of PACF, members of PLFI and Board members of World Apostolate Of Fatima.

Reaching this milestone was never easy. They said “We want to celebrate this with our children next to us! We were truly blessed to have them and celebrate this journey with them on our side and God in the Middle”.

As their wedding Tarpaulin saying goes “A perfect marriage is just two imperfect people who never want to give up on each other “.

The Turija family wants to extend their gratitude to all who attended and supported them especially to Fr. Sunny Castillo and all the warm messages and greetings they have received.
