Bart SG. Tubalinal, JR January 18, 1949 ~ November 10, 2024

Bart SG. Tubalinal Jr, age 75, beloved husband of 49 years to former Yoly Tumangan; loving father of Bart Xavier (Darya), Paul (Lynn) and Madelene (Mark) Sheaffer; cherished Lolo of Quincy, Mikayla, Xander and Simon; dear brother of Oscar and Imelda and predeceased siblings Conchita, Emilila, Agnela,Felina Honesto and Solita, joined his creator on November 10, 2024.
Bart was a Manager at the Philippine National Bank and part-time college professor at the University of Santo Tomas before immigrating to Chicago. After two years, he took and passed the Illinois CPA board. He worked as Financial Analyst at First Chicago Bank (now, Chase Bank) before going into private practice and publishing Philippine Time-U.S.A., Philippine Time U.S.A. News & People Magazine and Fil-Am Weekly MegaScene that he co-founded, published and edited with Yoly. Bart also served as past president of the National Press Club of the Philippines USA.
Bart will be missed by his family, friends and the Filipino-American community of Greater Chicago.
