Part 1 LEADERSHIP: JESUS’WAY Alphabet of A Leader Like Jesus

By: Nancy Abiera
Ilove Frank Sinatra’s song “My way” yet this kind of life led me to think and self-centered focus on being in a R.U.S. H.

Son RUSHED my life yet still feeling confused so I continue to P.U. S.H and felt
P. Pitiful not Powerful
U. Undeniably Unfulfilled
S. Sad & Stressed-out
H. Haughty & Proud
Just like how the song “My Way” goes:
“ I laughed and cried…
Regrets, I had a few…
Yes there were times I’m sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out,
I faced it all And I stood tall
and did it my way… “
I was clueless, wandering & wondering why something was still missing.
Later in life before reaching the age 40, I realized that there is that spot or hole in my heart that only Jesus can fill with His unconditional love.
I finally opened my heart and received Jesus as my Savior and Lord. This was life changing and learned something so precious & so valuable no money, success and happiness can buy, trade or experience. I received Jesus’ heart replacing my heart and His life made me see how He LEADS with

S. Spiritually & Supernaturally
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through Me. “ John 4:16
I knew Jesus dad Jesus mom and Jesus friends yet I really did not have a personal knowing or personal relationship with Jesus. I did not understand
fully the cross why He suffered and how that relates to me personally.
As I meditated on the “written word “ which is the Bible, I heard the “spoken word” through the Holy Spirit and the revelation of the “ Living Word” Jesus as He is the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us us. I am no longer living in the “Old Nancy in the flesh” living naturally died and the resurrected “New Nancy in the Spirit” rose up now living in the supernatural.
Thus, I learned Jesus lifestyle and leadership qualities. Just to summarize Jesus , I am using the Alphabet A to Z because Jesus is the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the Last.
Part 1 is the alphabet from letter A-M & Part 2 is from letter N-Z.
Alphabet of A Leader Like Jesus
A. Authentic & Accountable. Acting with Amazing integrity and taking
ownership. JESUS is the TRUTH!
B. Boldness & Balance. This means courage to act while balancing personal/ day to day life, etc. Issues.
Jesus said in Matthew 14:27r
“Take courage; it is I. Do not be afraid” (spoken to disciples during a storm/walking on water).
C. Communication & Creativity: Jesus spoke God’s ideas clearly and thinking outside the box. He taught us the way, the truth and how to live life in complete
obedience to the Heavenly Father. No wonder, the Pharisees & Sadducees were offended. They were “sad and far” not really knowing Jesus as the Son of God.
D. Decisiveness & Delegation: Jesus made firm decisions was and not double minded but has a single mind focused on the will of His Father even to the point of His death on the cross. He made 12 & gave them power, authority & delegation to continue His ministry work on earth.
E. Empathy Empowerment & Emotional Intelligence:
Jesus knew how to connect to all kinds of people, the rich and fool, the young ones and old ones, etc. Connection & Communicating deeply, emotionally, relationally & even spiritually are keys with Jesus making disciples.
F. Faith, Feedback & Focus:
Providing constructive guidance while maintaining strategic goals. Jesus was a great teacher because He lived in faith, listened with compassion and focused on His mission to save the lost.
G. Growth Mindset & Gratitude: Learning. Jesus always give thanks to His Father as part of His prayer. He lived the gratitude stride. Though Jesus did not make any mistake, I learned that “Good leaders learn from their mistakes but Great leaders learn from other people’s mistakes. “
H. Humility & Honesty: Jesus humbled Himself and became a man so we can learn from Him to live in humility and honesty which fosters trust.
I. Integrity & Influence: are new and ethically grounded. Jesus’ life influenced many with integrity and shared God-given principles for a life worth living.
J. Joy & Judgment: The Joy of the Lord is the source of our strength. Joy brings gladness and laughter like medicine to our soul.
sound reasoning to solve issues and creating a positive atmosphere environment.
K. Kindness & Knowledge:
brings about trust through compassion and promotes expertise. Jesus felt compassion when He saw the crowd so desperate and touched them with love, peace and kindness.
L. Laugh… Love… Listen… Live
Lead… Leave… Legacy.
This is what I call Loving & Listening Leadership: Actively understanding others and guiding with purpose till the end for other to see, live, lead and leave a legacy. That is what Jesus did which we can follow.
M. Mentorship & Miracles: Jesus lived and led His disciples mentoring and coaching them. They all saw and experienced His might in miracles, signs and wonder.
In conclusion, how do we respond? My way, your way OR Jesus way?
The choice is yours!
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for sending Jesus so we can know Him personally, experience His miraculous power and live His life as He is the way, the truth and the life.” Forgive us when we have opted to choose our way. Thank you Jesus for the life you give us seasoned with love, joy, peace, etc. Holy Spirit, empower us to live, lead and disciple people you send our way. In the Name of the Father, Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
